Chrome Extension

FirstBid while you browse Rightmove & Zoopla

Our Chrome extension turns any listing page into a FirstBid starting point. Click once, and the property URL is sent to firstbid.uk ready for a full official-record report.

What the extension does

One-click hand-off

On any Rightmove or Zoopla listing, click the FirstBid extension to send the URL straight into our address extraction and official-record pipeline.

No copy-pasting

The extension reads the page URL and opens firstbid.uk with the listing pre-loaded, so you can order a full report in seconds.

Same evidence standards

Every report still cross-checks EPC, Land Registry, flood, planning and crime records — the extension is just the fastest way to start.

How to use it

  1. 1Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. 2Browse Rightmove or Zoopla as normal.
  3. 3Click the FirstBid icon on a listing page.
  4. 4Review the extracted address, then run your FirstBid report.

Privacy note

The extension only reads the URL of the active tab when you click it. It does not track your browsing, inject scripts into listing pages, or send data anywhere except firstbid.uk. No account is required to use the hand-off, and we do not store the URL unless you choose to run a report.

For developers

The extension can call our public hand-off endpoint at POST /api/public/extension/handoff with a { url: string } body. We validate the domain and return a safe redirect URL to continue on firstbid.uk.

Check a property before you offer
